# Get your project online with ByteHaus

You bring the project. Your coding agent uses this guide to configure hosting, deploy it, and check the result.

## 1. Get your account ready

Choose a [ByteHaus hosting plan](https://bytehaus.co/#pricing) that includes the services your project needs, or use your existing account. Your agent can inspect the project and help select a plan before you purchase anything.

A hosting trial lets you start with file uploads through FTPS. SSH is included on Scale and available on Launch, Build, and Ship for **$12/year ($1/month equivalent, billed annually)**. Activate the service in the control panel before connecting; trial restrictions may apply. Node.js is included with Ship and Scale; lower plans offer it as an add-on. Check the current plan and order details for prices, limits, and availability.

Use an existing domain or register one separately. Domain purchases are paid even when hosting is on trial. A newly registered domain may need time to become reachable.

## 2. Give the guide to your agent

Give your agent this URL: **https://bytehaus.co/SKILL.md**. It can read the entry file and fetch any linked instructions it needs. You do not need to download or unpack a ZIP.

Give the agent access to your project and tell it the domain you want to use. For example:

> Read https://bytehaus.co/SKILL.md and fetch the linked guides you need to deploy this project to my ByteHaus account at [my domain]. Use my existing hosting where possible, and tell me which account details you need. Verify the live site and its main function when deployment is complete.

If your agent cannot retrieve web files, give it the contents of [the full documentation](https://bytehaus.co/llms-full.txt) instead. An installable skill package remains optional for tools that prefer local skills.

Keep passwords and keys in your agent's supported secret store or enter them directly when prompted. The guide contains no credentials and does not grant access by itself.

## 3. Complete the account steps when needed

Depending on your agent's tools, it may configure the customer panel or give you exact steps. You may need to complete signup, payment, password entry, verification emails, SSH activation, or a DNS change at your domain provider.

SSL is included, but initial certificate setup may require a request in the control panel. Your agent will check the certificate and DNS before calling the site live.

## 4. Review your live project

The agent should give you the live HTTPS link, what it deployed, the checks it ran, and any remaining steps. Open the site and try its main function. Keep the deployment record for future updates and certificate maintenance.

If the host needs to resolve an account issue, sign in to the [customer control panel](https://us.cloudlogin.co/login/) and use its Help Center. Include the specific error, without passwords or keys.
